Freeport- Gloria E. Quagliaroli age 90 of East St. died Friday, May 13th at the Freeport Nursing Home with her loving daughter and son-in-law by her side. She was born in Topsham on February 12, 1926 the daughter of Joseph and Josephine Belanger Michaud.

She attended Brunswick schools and worked as a mill worker her entire life retiring from the Bates Mill in Lewiston in 1988. On June 1, 1946 she married Joseph Quagliaroli. He died May 27, 1985.

Gloria enjoyed spending quality time with her grand and great grandchildren. She loved going out to eat, doing cross stitch and word search puzzles. Gloria will be most remembered for her kindness and generosity. 

She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church-All Saints Parish.

Surviving is her daughter Anna Riendeau and her husband Gerry of Topsham. A sister Priscille Folger of Brunswick. Four grandchildren Shawn Quagliaroli, Christa Yates, Michael Quagliaroli and Brian Riendeau. Eight great grandchildren Caleb, Cadence, Makayla, Ella, Evan, Julia, Jace and Bode. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her son Victor Quagliaroli on June 3, 1993, two brothers Russell and Conrad and a sister Jeannette. 

The family would like to thank the Freeport Nursing Home and the Hospice of Southern Maine for their excellent LOVING and EXCELLENT care they gave to Gloria.

At Gloria’s request there will be no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, May 18th at 11 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church-All Saints Parish 132 McKeen St. Brunswick. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Brunswick.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The American Cancer Society-1 Bowdoin Mill Island, Suite 300 Topsham, Maine 04086.
