Topsham—Sean J. Sullivan, age 54, of Barrows Drive died Tuesday August 28th at University of Massachusetts Memorial Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts. He was born in Newton, Massachusetts on September 13, 1963 to Leo and Nancy Carr Sullivan.

He attended Williams-Cone Elementary School and was a 1981 graduate of Mt. Ararat High School in Topsham, Maine. Sean was on the wrestling team along with his long-time best friend, Galen Wilson. Sean spent four years at University of Maine at Farmington, and received an Associate's of Science degree in industrial electronics from Southern Maine Vocational Technical Institute in 1987.

On June 20th, 1987 he married the love of his life and college sweetheart, Caroline Perry. They were surrounded by both of their families and friends at St. Andre’s church in Biddeford, with Brett Guisinger as his best man. They were married for over 30 wonderful, memory-rich, love-filled years.

Sean retired after 25 years with the telephone company. He enjoyed watching Patriots football, Star Trek, M*A*S*H, and Survivor with his family. Camping, canoeing and fishing with his family and friends were his pastimes of choice. He enjoyed relaxing with his family, friends, and his pets: Ellie, a seven-year-old yellow lab, Harper, a one year old rescue, and Mr. Man, a two year old white cat.

Sean was a member of the Gold Wing Road Rider Association, Chapter D, where he rode his 1991 Special Edition Honda Gold Wing, which he was always very proud of. The Tasmanian Devil was he and Caroline’s mascot on their early rides. They rode across the country and attended several motorcycle rallies together with their two children at their side.

Surviving is Sean’s wife, Caroline Sullivan of Topsham, as well as his two cherished children, Kristin Sullivan and her fiancée, Geovanni Graham, of Jacksonville, North Carolina, and Patrick Sullivan of Topsham. Sean is also survived by his two sisters, Maureen Loveitt of Bath and Christine Sullivan of Hinkley, whom he loved dearly.

Visiting hours will be Friday September 7th from 6-8PM at Stetson’s Funeral Home, 12 Federal St., Brunswick.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, September 8th at 11AM at St. John the Baptist Church-All Saints Parish, Pleasant. St., Brunswick.
