Brunswick-Connie Nagle, 56 of Page Street suffered complications from a bicycle accident and died on November 3rd at the Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME surrounded by her loving family. A graduate of Hamburg Central Schools in Western New York, Connie earned an AB degree in fine arts with a minor in music from Earlham College in Richmond, IN, a BS from the Cornell School of Nursing in NYC, and her Advanced Practice Nursing degree in Women’s Health at the University of Pennsylvania. Until the time of her death she worked as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner in Portland, ME.

She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Jeff Nagle of Brunswick, her son Eric Nagle of Harpswell, her daughter Hannah Nagle of Portland, her mother, Jean Warner Eaton of Oberlin, OH, her sisters Margaret Biscombe (Robert) of North Bay, NY, Elizabeth Eaton of North Easton, MA, Nancy Tucker (Ralph) of Brunswick, ME, Anne Eaton of Lincoln, MA, and her brother David Eaton (Robyn) of Warwick, NY, and 20 nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her father, David H. Eaton.

Connie brought light, love, and happiness wherever she went. Devoted to her family and numerous pets, deeply committed to the health of her patients, passionate about local and world affairs, Connie’s boundless energy inspired those around her. Her contagious and often zany sense of humor, combined with her natural warmth, endeared her to all who met her. Connie’s numerous leisure interests included sailing trips with close friends, visits to Vinalhaven Island, hiking, kayaking, reading, music, singing, and traveling and living abroad with her family. A dedicated professional highly regarded by patients and colleagues, she was a strong and caring force who will be missed by many.

A memorial service will be held in Studzinski Hall at Bowdoin College at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 21st. A reception will follow in Lancaster Lounge in Moulton Union at Bowdoin College. Memorial donations may be made to Coastal Humane Society, 30 Range Road, Brunswick, ME 04011. Arrangements were by Stetson’s Funeral Home 12 Federal St. Brunswick.
