Freeport-Mary Barry, age 64 of Old County Road passed away Wednesday, October 6 at Hawthorne House. She was born in Quincy, Mass October 29, 1945, the daughter of Frederick and Marjorie (Young) Barry.

She graduated from Archbishop Williams High School and Vermont College and received her master's degree from the University of Maine.

She was a hospice social worker for 22 years in Rockland, and Portland, ME and St. Petersburg, Florida. She enjoyed knitting, quilting, reading and spending time with her family.

She was previously married to Ken Weber, and later John Jackson.

She is survived by her daughters, Andrea Brown and her husband Ken of Freeport, Robin Nye and her husband, Jeff of Fairfield, CT and Joanna Mahto and her husband Kiran of Portland, Oregon. She has 5 grandchildren Molly and Noah Brown of Freeport, Alexandra and Olivia Nye of Fairfield CT, and Liam Mahto of Portland, Oregon. She has 5 siblings, Frederick Barry of Milton, Ma, James Barry of Sandwich, Ma., Joanne Bray of Clearwater, Florida, Paul Barry of Milton, Ma and Michael Barry of Gloucester Ma.

A memorial service will be held 2PM Sunday, October 10th at Stetson's Funeral Home, 12 Federal St., Brunswick with a gathering to follow at the Stetson's Funeral Home Reception Center.
