Brunswick- Florence A. Marino, age 85, of Piper Farm Road, died Friday, April 22nd at Mid Coast Senior Health Center. She was born July 28, 1925 in Brunswick, the daughter of Ernest and Rose Ouellette Gagne.
She was raised in Brunswick and attended St. Peter’s School in Lewiston. She met and married her husband, Benito J. Marino while he was in the service. They moved to New York and lived there for 27 years, before returning to Brunswick in 1976. Florence was a homemaker, living a quiet and simple life.

She is survived by her daughter Sheila Longway of Brunswick, granddaughter Sherri Milbourn and her husband Thomas of Brunswick, 2 great-grandsons Kyle and Trevor Milbourn both of Brunswick, a sister Claire Dubreil of Brunswick, and several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her devoted husband, Ben,  3 sisters Cecile Merritt, Betty Crockett, and Germaine Wright.

Visiting hours will be held Monday, April 25th from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at Stetson’s Funeral Home, 12 Federal St., Brunswick. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, April 26th at 11AM at St. John the Baptist Church-All Saints Parish, Pleasant St., Brunswick with the Rev. Normand Carpentier officiating. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Brunswick.

Donations in Florence’s memory may be American Diabetes Association-Maine Division, 80 Elm St., Portland, ME 04101.
