She especially enjoyed performing in the Bell Choirs of First Parish Church, Brunswick, and Second Congregational Church, Newcastle.

She spent many fun filled summers with family and friends at her summer house on Fish Beach at Monhegan Island. Towards the end of her life, she spent many hours online educating people about multiple chemical sensitivities, (MCS), while struggling with the disease herself.
