James A. Grover Jr. passed away May 6th at his home in
Topsham. He was born September 6, 1951 in Quonset Point, Rhode Island,
son of Mary White and James A. Grover, Sr. He attended local schools and
graduated from Brunswick High School. He married Wendy Weiler of Saco and
they had one son, James A. Grover, III.
Jim had an extensive career in sales including Johnson's Gun
Shop in Brunswick, Pete's True Value in Saco and Boston Mutual Insurance
Company. He was an avid bass fisherman, competed in statewide
tournaments, and founded Champion Bassmasters of Southern Maine. He was an
active member of Brunswick Air Modelers. Jim was a skilled craftsman and a self
taught artist.
Jim was predeceased by his mother Mary. He is survived by
his son James III, his father James Sr., and a sister Karen. Services will be
