Topsham-Daniel L. Bellefleur age 49 of Harmony Hill Road died Thursday September 6th at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick.

He was born in Brunswick, October 15, 1957 the son of Maxime and Edna Mayo Bellefleur. He attended Brunswick and Topsham schools.

For several years he drove a dump truck and then worked as a custodian. For several years until becoming ill he owned and operated his own painting business Danny the Painter.

On October 9, 1982 he married the former Bettina Nurse.

He was an animal lover and loved his St. Bernard “BEN” and his Pekinese Chiwawa “Schatzi”. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family and making model cars with his boys. Daniel was a craftsman having built his own shed and he also enjoyed gardening.

Surviving besides his wife of Topsham are two sons Daniel Bellefleur United States Marine Corps, South Carolina and Cody Bellefleur of Topsham. Three daughters, Angela Bellefleur White and her husband David of Topsham; Deanna Bellefleur Ammons of Brunswick and Cassandra Bellefleur and her companion Randy Swisher of Topsham. Four brothers Edward Bellefleur of Topsham, James Bellefleur and his wife Darlene of Durham, John and Bryan Bellefleur both of Brunswick. A sister Linda Bellefleur of Freeport. Also survived by four grandchildren, a godson Joey Alexander of Brunswick and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was also predeceased by a brother Keaton Bellefleur.

A celebration of his life will be held Tuesday 2PM at the Taste of Europe Restaurant in Topsham. Memorial donations may be made to Stetson's Funeral Home 12 Federal St. Brunswick, ME 04011 to help with funeral expenses. Memorial condolences may be expressed at stetsonsfuneralhome.com
