Frank Albert Yanok

Brunswick-Frank A. Yanok age 86 of Pollard Avenue died Wednesday, September 17th in Brunswick.
He was born in Pejepscot, March 27, 1922 the son of George and Anna Lemus Yanok.  He attended Pejepscot and Brunswick schools graduating from Brunswick High School.
After high school Frank began working at Pejepscot Paper Company.  During WWII he served in the United States Army.  After the war Frank returned to Pejepscot Paper where he worked as a wood grinder for forty-four years until retiring.
On June 28, 1947 he married Elizabeth Mae Bacon.
Frank enjoyed spending quality time with his family and loved to go dancing with his wife. Frank also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are three sons Francis Yanok and his wife Linda of Bay St. Louis, MS; Stephen Yanok and his wife Brenda of Warroad, MN and John Yanok of Brunswick. Two brothers Albert Yanok of Sebec and Richard Yanok of Brunswick.  Four sisters Mary Latendresse, Frances Yanok and Helen Perrey all of Brunswick and Gertrude Heath of Harpswell. Also survived by nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife he was also predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM Monday at St. Charles Borromeo Church McKeen St. Brunswick with Rev. Stephen Concannon officiating. Interment will follow in Growstown Cemetery, Church Road, Brunswick.
