Topsham, ME.-Barbara A. Slamin, 83, died April 10, 2014 at Mid-Coast Hospital, Brunswick, ME, after a short illness. She and her husband of 60 years, Hubert (Bud) Slamin, formerly of Natick, lived in Winter Haven, FL for the past 25 years. Barbara was a homemaker and helped her husband operate Slamin's Mobil Station.  She was predeceased by her parents, Patrick and Linda (Devereaux) Slamin, her husband, Hubert, brothers, John, Vincent and Herbert, and sister, Gloria. Barbara was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, aunt and friend  to many. She is survived by her three children, Donna M. (Joseph) Aucoin of Topsham, ME, David F. Slamin of Winter Park, FL and Lianne M. (John) LaRhette of Center Harbor, NH, four grandchildren, Jason Aucoin, Jeremy Aucoin, Michael LaRhette and Jennifer LaRhette and eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Wednesday, April 16th at St. Patrick's Church 44 East Central Street Natick, MA. Interment will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery 180 Pond St. Natick, Ma.
