Freeport - Barry Gerard Farmer, born December 27, 1968, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston surrounded by his three children Beth Farmer, Cresten Farmer and Avery Farmer. 

Barry is survived by his 3 children and his two grandsons Carter and William. He is the son of Phillip Farmer and the late Roberta Farmer and has 4 siblings; Dawn Spearrin, Carrie Marthia, Aubrey Farmer and Dawn Joy. 

Barry grew up in Freeport and graduated from Freeport High School. He worked for numerous companies growing up, mainly at Lee Tire in both Topsham and Brunswick locations. You could always find Barry with either a mountain dew or a Bud Light in one hand and a Marlboro red in the other with his shirt off.
