BRUNSWICK- Following a day of visits from her dearest friends, Catherine Donlin passed away after a courageous and challenging battle with cancer on the morning of August 18, 2024, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House with her mother and sister by her side. She was born on April 10, 1978, and was a cherished daughter, sister, friend and auntie to so many. Her caring nature, amazing smile, and adventurous spirit made a lasting impact, and her absence will leave a profound emptiness in all our hearts. Catherine loved a beach day, camping, and just being outside, especially in the yard with a pair of loppers. She loved 90s rap and R&B, Beyonce and any song with an a cappella break and/or hand claps. She recently started crafting and was forever making people laugh. She graduated from Medomak Valley High School in Waldoboro, Maine in 1997 and after living and working in Key West, Florida for many years, returned to Maine, where she graduated from the University of New England in 2008 with a degree in dental hygiene. Catherine worked for 11 years at The Art of Dentistry in Cumberland Foreside, Maine where she was loved by her colleagues and patients. Catherine was pre-deceased by her father, Richard J Donlin and is survived by her mother, Patricia Donlin and sister Sarah Donlin, both of Brunswick Maine, her brother Christopher Donlin, Warren, Maine, her aunt Beth Hyler, Cushing, Maine, her great aunt Sister Judith Mulhall, West Hartford, Connecticut and her many maternal and paternal cousins and their families. Catherine's Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 132 McKeen Street, Brunswick, Maine on Friday, August 30, 2024, at 11:00 AM.
