Bowdoin- Clyde A. Pratt, Jr. devoted family man, genuine old-time Mainer: up from dawn 'til way after dark "getting things done" for whoever needed a hand. One particular personal experienece happened at 9:00 on a Sunday night. The tank of my toilet broke, so I shut off the water and called dad. He listened, paused, and said "Ok, I'll be down in a minute, but what color do you want? I have....." He even fixed problems long distance. Over the phone he's talked us through many home repair issues, patiently waiting for me to look on my "other" left.
His legacy is that of a wonderful son, brother, man, husband, father, pa and friend. He has left lasting impressions that will be reflected for generations to come. A family heirloom of goodness, faithfulness, and Christian character.
We are all grateful for the time we have had with him, and his positive influence and example. He will be sadly missed by many.
