Obituary

Topsham- Dolores F. McKay, age 72 of Pinewood Drive, passed away Wednesday, January 22nd at her home surrounded by her family. She was born March 7, 1941 in Brunswick, the daughter of Philip and Lucienne Livernois Ouellette. She attended St. John's School and Brunswick High School. Dolores worked at the Mill Outlet Store at Fort Andross for 2-3 years, and married George A. McKay on September 10, 1960. She later worked at J.J. Cleaners, Health Tex for 15 years, then operated her own Daycare until her retirement in 2000. Dolores liked to do word searches, bowling, take bus trips, visit the casinos and playing cards and other games with her many friends. Surviving are her husband of 53 years, George McKay of Topsham, three sons, Dennis of Phoenix, David of Richmond and Darrin and his wife Brenda of Brunswick, a sister Pricilla Bernier of Brunswick and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Visiting hours will be held Monday, January 27th from 6-8PM at Stetson's Funeral Home, 12 Federal St., Brunswick, where a funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 28th at 10AM with Fr. Frank Murray officiating. Burial at St. John's Cemetery will be held in the spring. Donations in her memory may be made to CHANS Hospice Care, 60 Baribeau Drive, Brunswick, ME 04011.
