Topsham-Doris Bernice Trusiani age 75 of Middlesex Road died Wednesday, October 27th at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick.
She was born in Gardiner November 27, 1934 the daughter of Dennis and Mary Swift Quigley. Doris attended Randolph schools and was a 1954 graduate of Gardiner High School.
On May 19, 1956 she married Arthur O. Trusiani. He died February 4, 1999.
Doris was a devoted homemaker raising her family.
Doris enjoyed painting particularly oil and water colors, flower gardening, cooking and was an expert seamstress. Doris also enjoyed traveling with her husband Arthur in her earlier years.
Doris was a longtime member of the Topsham Fire Department's Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a member of the Topsham Fair Association, Merrymeeting Art Association and the Topsham Garden Club.
Surviving is a daughter Patti M. Estes of Dresden. Two sons Michael D. and James A. Trusiani both of Topsham. Three grandchildren Louis Fee of Brunswick, Jessica Fee of Saco and Samuel Estes of Dresden. Three sisters Shirley Gregoire of Levittown, PA; Helen Greeley of Hallowell and Marie Hayes of Randolph. A brother in-law Paul Trusiani of Portland.
In addition to her parents and husband she was also predeceased by infant son Stephen Trusiani, brother Robert Quigley in 1994 and son-in-law Lewis Estes Jr. in 2002.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 6 at 2PM at Stetson's Funeral Home 12 Federal St. Brunswick with the Rev. Ronald McLaughlin officiating. Private family interment will follow. A reception will follow the funeral service and details will be announced at the service.
