Florence G. Bernier age 93 formerly of Pejepscot Terrace died Wednesday, June 22nd at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick. She was born in Brunswick on July 11, 1917 the daughter of Wilfred and Henrietta Favreau Bernier. She was educated in Brunswick schools and worked at the Cabot and Verney Mill until 1942. On August 1, 1936 she married Romeo F. Bernier. He died August 7, 1988. Later Florence worked as a packer for Jay Brush Company retiring in 1973. Florence enjoyed knitting, traveling, playing cards and gardening. Florence was a member, past president and vice president of the Evergreen's Senior Citizens Club. Past president of the Pejepscot Terrace Tenant's Association, member and on the planning board of the 55 Plus Center. A parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Church -All Saints Parish. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held Sunday, June 26 from 3-5PM at Stetson's Funeral Home 12 Federal St. Brunswick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 AM Monday, June 27th at St. Charles Borromeo Church-All Saints Parish McKeen St. Brunswick. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Brunswick.
