Frederick John Dudak Jr, 77, of Bailey Island Maine, passed away August 27, 2011.
Born in Buttonwood, PA he was the son of the late Frederick John Dudak and Anna (Pesta) Bolesta formerly of South Plainfield New Jersey. Fred and his wife Therese moved to Maine 22 years ago.
Fred is survived by his wife and best friend of 51 years, Therese(Carbonneau) Dudak ; Four sons, Frederick John Dudak III and wife Diane of Stroudsburg, Steven Dudak of Brodheadsville, Michael Dudak and wife Maribeth of Albrightsville, Ronald Dudak and wife Jessica of Kunkletown and daughter Linda Roselli and fiance Greg Ehrhardt of Stroudsburg. In addition he leaves behind 7 grandchildren; AnnMarie Cole, Jennifer Roselli, Courtney Dudak, Frederick John Dudak IV, Jonathan Dudak, Zachary Dudak and Timothy Dudak.
He is also survived by four siblings BethAnn Carbonneau of Mobile, Alabama, Sandy Hasson of Dunellen, NJ, Stanley (Butch) Bolesta of South Plainfield, NJ and Lillian Barnes of South Plainfield, NJ and numerous nieces and nephews.
Fred was a loving husband and a supportive father. Fred and Therese were married January 16, 1960. Fred served as an MP in the Armed Forces and was a member of Steamfitters Local 475. Fred's passions included spending time with his best friend Terry, gardening, boating, NASCAR and utilizing his plumbing skills to help his neighbors in need. Fred was known around Bailey Island for his wit, warm smile, hard work and generousity to all. A memorial service will be held at 5:30 PM Thursday, September 1st at the Gower Funeral Home located on route 209 Gilbert PA.
