Topsham-Howard B. Cluff Jr. age 70 of Middlesex Road died Saturday, November 6th at Maine Medical Center in Portland.
He was born in Sanford on August 19, 1940 the son of Howard Sr. and Florence Redmond Cluff. As a child he moved to the mid-coast region attending Harpswell schools and was a 1959 graduate of Brunswick High School.
For several years Howard worked at Cook's Lobster House and Doug & Mel's Grocery Store. For many years until his retirement in 1990 Howard worked as Parts Manager for Wright Buick and then Giberson Buick.
Howard was a dedicated hard worker never missing a day of work.
Howard was an outdoorsman enjoying hunting, boating and snowmobiling. He was also a woodworker and enjoyed building and flying radio controlled airplanes.
Howard was a longtime member of Brunswick United Masonic Lodge and the Kora Temple. He was also a charter member of the Brunswick/ Topsham Area Snow Jammers.
Surviving is a brother Forest Cluff and his wife Cheryl of Brunswick. A sister Gayle Baker and her husband Duane of Topsham and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held Friday, November 12th from 2-4 & 6-8PM at Stetson's Funeral Home 12 Federal St. Brunswick. A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 13th at 10 AM at the funeral home with the Rev. Ronald McLaughlin officiating. Private interment will be in Rogers's Cemetery, Topsham. Immediately following the funeral service the family would like to invite you to join them in the Stetson's Funeral Home Reception center at the funeral home.
