Obituary

Brunswick-Louise Jones, age 89, of Maquoit Road, passed away Wednesday, April 13th at Parkview Adventist Medical Center. She was born May 12, 1921 in Rumford, ME, the daughter of Albion and Maryann Starkey Cloutier. She was the former wife of Stephen Elwell of Brunswick and remarried Frances Jones of Brunswick. Louise was a homemaker and full-time mother. She loved to visit friends and family, play beano, dance, play card games, travel, site-see, and change things in life, from rearranging furniture to where the family lived. She always made a house a home. She will be missed and never forgotten by her family and friends. She will always be loved and with us in some way. She is now with the Lord on a new journey. All we can take with us when we pass is love and memories. She is now with our loved ones that passed before her. Their wait is over now, ours begins. God be with you Mom. We love you. Louise is survived by 6 children Larry Elwell and wife Beverly of Wiscasset, Louise Wenger and husband Roy of Brunswick, Terry Elwell of Wiscasset, Brenda Crowley and husband Larry of Viginia Beach, VA, Bradley Elwell of Brunswick, and Rickey Elwell and wife Theresa of Brunswick. She is also survived by a daughter-in-law Marilyn Elwell of Topsham.   In addition, she is survived by 26 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren, one brother Pat Cloutier of FL, five sisters Maryann Young, Elsie Halloway and Irean Fickett all of FL, Rose Harvey of Niagra Falls, NY and Theresa Plankey of TN, and many more relatives across the U.S., England and Canada. She is predeceased by a son George Elwell and a set of twin infant girls. Visiting hours will be held Monday, April 18th from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at Stetson's Funeral Home, 12 Federal St., Brunswick, where a funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 19 at 1PM with Fr. Normand Carpentier officiating. Burial will follow in Maquoit Cemetery.
