Colorado Springs, CO- Marie A. Cushman, age 99, formerly of Brunswick, ME, died Thursday, April 11th In Colorado Springs. She was born Frenchville, ME on May 2, 1913, the daughter of George J. and Rose Bouchard Gagnon. She was educated in the Holy Rosary Convent in Frenchville and graduated from Our Lady of Wisdom Academy in St. Agathe. After graduation, she attended 1 year of Business College. She married Charles C. Cushman on October 15, 1940 and he passed away on December 27, 1990. The Cushman's summered in So. Harpswell, ME until 1986, when they moved to Brunswick. Marie worked as a personal assistant at E.I. DuPont Chemical Industries for several years. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church in Brunswick, ME. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her four brothers: Rene, Lawrence, Richard and Gerald Gagnon and one sister: Stella. A private burial will be held in Pine Grove Cemetery, Brunswick, ME at a later date.
