Brunswick- Michael C. Smith, age 51 of Maquoit Road, passed away Tuesday, November 8th at Mid Coast Hospital. He was born April 6, 1960 in Brunswick, the son of Virgil and Maxine Dulac Smith. On August 17, 1996, he married Linda Milliken. Mike graduated from Brunswick High School in 1978 and worked in security for several years at Maine Yankee and later at Bowdoin College. He also worked for Alice West in Southport and was employed at Thorton Oaks in the maintenance department until the time of his illness. He enjoyed gambling at the casinos, fishing and smelting, and riding motorcycles . Mike is survived by his parents Maxine Dulac of Brunswick and Virgil Smith of Vincennes, Indiana, his wife of 15 years, Linda Smith of Brunswick, children Corrina Tibbetts of Bowdoinham and Christopher Tibbetts of Brunswick, stepchildren Sandy Ruehl and husband Tim of Lisbon, Tina Sines and husband Jeff of Westbrook, Kim Garvey of Bath, Cassie Taylor of VT, and Jason Cooper of Lisbon, uncle Donald W. Dulac of Bowdoinham, 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held from 2-4PM, Friday, November 11th at Stetson's Funeral Home, 12 Federal St., Brunswick, where a celebration of his life will follow at 4PM. Burial will be in the spring.
