Brunswick- Ophelia Reatiraza, age 71 of Columbia Avenue, passed on to join with her heavenly Father on Friday October 31 at her residence. She was born in Cabanatuan City, Philippines on February 24, 1943, the daughter of Jose and Marcelina Lopez Nuñez. Ophelia came to the United States in 1964. She met Jaime, then a friend who she married on June 18, 1966. She moved with her husband to different duty stations during his navy career, with their final move being to Brunswick. Ophelia worked as a Medical Technologist at Mid Coast Hospital for 36 years. In addition to her husband Jaime, she is survived by a son Lee James Reatiraza, 2 daughters Jocelin Reatiraza Augustine and Joanna Reatiraza Bailey, and a brother Joselito Nuñez. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, November 6th at 11AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church-All Saints Parish, 132 McKeen St., Brunswick, where a reception will follow the Mass at the Church. Burial at Maine Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Mt. Vernon Road, Augusta will be Friday, November 7 at 12 Noon.
