Obituary

TOPSHAM – Priscilla S. Davis passed away on April 24, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 13, 1923 in Watertown, MA, one of four children of Timothy R. and Margaret H. Stearns. She graduated from Wellesley Hills High School (MA) and Katharine Gibbs School (NYC) and later attended nursing school. Pritz married Richard Osann in September 1946 and raised 5 children in Riverside, CT. After several years in Ridgefield CT, in 1993 she moved to Seven Lakes, NC where she resided for 13 years. There she met and married George Davis. In 2006, she returned to Maine, her parents' home state. As a child, Pritz spent her summers with her grandparents, the Hinds family, at Long Lake in Naples. While raising her children, she enjoyed swimming, sailing and family barbecues at Rocky Point in Old Greenwich. She was an active volunteer at local hospitals and church in each of the various communities she lived in. Pritz was an avid traveler with zeal for adventure, leading her family on a 6-week camping trip through Europe and numerous beach trips. She was known for her colorful flowers and the best home-grown local produce around. She loved most to visit her children and grandchildren in NH, ME, TN, NC and CA.   Pritz was predeceased by her husbands; and her sister, Nan, and her son, Timothy. She is survived by her children, Kathy of Irvine, CA, David (Heather) of Hendersonville, NC, Sally (Dick) of Orange, NH, Rick (Rosemary) of Gorham, and Paul (Sheila) of Kodak, TN; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; her loving companion, Marcus Nordberg of Topsham, and her sister and brother.   A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, April 27th at 11AM at the Holden Frost House at The Highlands, Topsham. Burial in First Parish Church Cemetery, Greenwich, CT will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Stetson's Funeral Home, 12 Federal St., Brunswick, where condolences may be expressed at stetsonsfuneralhome.com
