Brunswick - Theresa (PeeWee) G. Grant, age 88 of Jordan Avenue died Thursday October 12th.
Born in Brunswick, ME December 5, 1934 the daughter of John and Edith Engerski of Brunswick in their house on Jordan Avenue.
She attended Brunswick schools and was a 1952 graduate of Brunswick High School.
Theresa married Verdie A Grant of Bath.
PeeWee worked as a bank teller at Brunswick National Bank and Maine National Bank, becoming an operations manager at the Brunswick branch before retiring in the early '90s. She and her husband owned Grant's towing / gas and service stations from the 50's to the 70's, having many locations around Brunswick.
She enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and working outdoors. Her hobbies included woodworking, oil painting and being a musician where she specialized in trumpet.
She predeceased by her brother John Engerski and her sisters Dorothy Moore, Anna Moore and Edith Engerski.
Surviving is her son, James Grant and his wife Amy.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 19 from 10 to 10:45AM at Stetson's Funeral Home, 12 Federal St., Brunswick, followed by an 11AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. John's The Baptist Church, Pleasant St., Brunswick. Burial in the family lot at St. John's Cemetery in Brunswick will follow the mass.
